Kodak Portra 800

Kodak Portra 800 is a high-speed, daylight-balanced color negative film with great low-light performance, a high exposure latitude and beautiful rich colour. Aspects of Portra 800 differ slightly from its 160 and 400 ISO counterparts, being based on older VISION2 technology as opposed to updated VISION3. Portra 800 exhibits a more saturated, constrasty image, while still delivering excellent skin tone rendition ideal for portraiture. Portra 800 excels in low-light environments though can be used in brighter daylight scenes with great results. It has a tabular-grain emulsion that delivers a moderately fine grain when compared to similar-ISO alternatives. Portra 800 is a versatile professional colour film that absolutely delivers on those signature, rich Kodak tones– and with a higher capacity for low-light shooting, its recommended as a reliable all-rounder that consistently delivers beautiful results, no matter the conditions.
